Luke 21: 1-4

Luke 21: 1-4

He looked up and saw rich people putting their gifts into the treasury; 2 he also saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. 3 He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them; 4 for all of them have contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”

This week’s worship focussed on the real meaning of Christmas.

Within the service we;

  1. Interviewed parishioners about “what Christmas means for them”

  2. Memories from childhood with Grandparents, and being together with families.

  3. Performed a puppet show, exploring how we can give Jesus a birthday gift.

  4. By helping people around us, showing love.

  5. Listened to a sermon about the meaning of Christmas.

  6. How Christmas lights and decorations can help us to remember the real meaning of Christmas.
